Softball Wraps Weekend with Win over Presbyterian

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida softball wrapped up its week with a 2-1 win against Presbyterian on Sunday afternoon. The Ospreys finished the week 4-2 overall.

How it Happened:
- In the first inning, seniors Dominica Cocuzza and Navia Penrod combined to get the run in. Cocuzza tapped a two-out double to center field, her sixth of the season, before Penrod sent a single through the right side for the 1-0 lead.
- The Blue Hose evened the score in the top of the fourth, but it was short lived as UNF added another in the fifth.
- Megan Woodson led off the fifth with a single and moved over on ground out and sac bunt. Cocuzza then sent a sac fly for the game-winning run.
