Women's Golf Tackles Kiawah Island Classic Next in Spring Slate

From the Tee Box: After claiming the title at last week's Amelia Island Collegiate, the No. 71-ranked North Florida women's golf team hopes to build on that success at this week's Kiawah Island Spring Classic starting on Sunday.

- This marks the Ospreys 7th consecutive appearance at the Kiawah Island Classic, having played in the event every year of the program's existence | UNF has four Top 10 finishes including a runner-up showing in 2015
- Tournament continues a stretch of three straight weeks with a tournament scheduled for North Florida
- Field includes five squads ranked in the Golfstat Top 100 | North Florida enters the event as the 2nd highest ranked squad
- Tabbed as the largest collegiate golf tournament in the country, the 2019 edition of the Edwin Watts / Kiawah Island Spring Classic has expanded to 48 teams in this year's field and will be played for the fifth time in its history at Osprey Point at the Kiawah Island Golf Resort on Kiawah Island, S.C.
- Two courses are used for the three-day, 54-hole tournament including Oak Point. After 36 holes of play, the Top 24 teams will play for the championship at Osprey Point during the final round, while teams 25-48 will play for a flight championship at Oak Point.
