The short story: The North Florida women's golf team was led by a pair of even-par rounds from Liss Davalos and Sydney Shrader in ending the first day of competition at the Kiawah Island Spring Classic in a tie for 7th on Sunday.

- Freshman Liss Davalos and junior Sydney Shrader both navigated the layout of Osprey Point Golf Course with rounds of even-par 72, ranking T17
- Playing in just her second tournament of the season, freshman Daniela Gonzalez finished the first round in a T54 at 74
- Sophomore Mindy Herrick (75) and junior Teresa Conroy (76) rounded out the UNF lineup in ties for 73rd and 91st, respectively
