Swimming Sees 11 Advance to Day 2 Finals
STARTING BLOCK - The 200 Freestyle relay team got the session started with a fifth-place finish and sophomore Camryn Greenleaf capped the night with a school record 50 Freestyle as the North Florida swim team enjoyed several memorable performances on day two of the CCSA Championships in Lynchburg, Va.
On the second day of competition at the CCSA Championships, the North Florida swim team saw 11 swimmers advance to swim in the finals of the 500-yd Freestyle, 200-yd IM and 50-yd Freestyle.

NOTEWORTHY
-Â Fletcher not only clocked a personal best in the 500 prelims, her time was the fastest of the season for the team
- Schillinger, Showfety and Trago also recorded personal bests in the 500
- Blaakman notched a PR in the finals of the 200 IM
- In the 200 IM prelims, Graf notched the fastest time of the season for the Ospreys along with bettering her personal best
- The freshman trio of Sheppard, Glennon and Quackenbush also recorded their season best times in the 200 IM prelims
- Joram and Mutschler used personal bests to qualify for finals in the 200 IM
- Greenleaf produced a PR in the 50 Freestyle prelims before touching the wall in a school record time of 23.60 in the Finals
- Barklund also saw a PR time flash on the board in the 50 Freestyle finals
- The 200 freestyle relay finished with a season best time of 1:34.82 en route to picking up a 5th place finish

Following Prelims
"Very happy overall with the performances today. Good to get eleven night swims plus starting out with the 200 Free Relay. The 500 swimmers set the tone of the session and we went from there. Tonight is a new session. Points are earned. The team is positive and ready to swim fast."

UP NEXT
UNF heads into the third day of the four day competition on Friday. Prelim swims for 100 Butterfly, 400 IM, 200 Freestyle, 100 Breastroke and 100 Backstroke are slated to start at 10 a.m. The night session features the event finals along with the 400 Medley Relay.
