Freshman Kaley Petrosky collected a PR and her first collegiate event title while several other PRs and strong event debuts highlighted a solid opening day of performances for the North Florida women's team at the Carolina Challenge.

- Freshman Sonja Andenmatten (57.30) and Crystal Liebenberg (57.51) collected Top 30 showings in the 400m
- Freshman Lydia van Dijk raced to a time of 4:57 in her collegiate mile debut, fast enough for a third-place finish and better than the facility record time
