LAST WORD
"It's great to go undefeated in the non-conference at home. Our student section was phenomenal again. Greek Life and our marketing staff have done an amazing job getting students to the game. We are 11-2 in our last 13 mid-major games including 4-1 this season and undefeated at home. We had a little setback in Vegas, but it is what it is. We challenged the guys to do the next right thing. Wash out the travel, jet lag and whatever else and just come and play today. To our guys credit, except for five straight scores that High Point had at the end of the game, we really put together about a really good 25 minutes of action. We defended well, really rebounded well and we shared the ball well. What I really loved was the fact that we went 18 of 20 from the free throw line. This team, in my opinion, should lead the country in free throw shooting and three-point shooting, because we get plenty of open looks. Really proud of our guys for that stretch, but games are 40 minutes long so that just shows that we still have work to do. Now we turn our focus on Austin Peay." -- Head coach
