
Athletics Welcomes Hall of Fame Class of 2020, Celebrates 15 Years in Division I

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – It was a night of memories and recognitions, as the University of North Florida Athletic Department inducted its 2020 class of the UNF Hall of Fame featuring all athletes from the department's NCAA Division I Era.
The induction ceremony was part of a reception celebrating the department's 15th Anniversary at the NCAA Division I level. In addition to the Hall of Fame ceremony, Athletics also announced it's 15th Anniversary All-Division I team selections as voted on by the public through an online poll during conducted from Sept. 23-Oct. 25.
The 2020 Hall of Fame class includes Aline Berkenbrock (Women's Tennis), Sean Dale (Men's Golf), Preston Hale (Baseball), Brittany Kirkland (Women's Basketball) and Paige Pridgeon (Volleyball) along with the Ospreys' 2009-13 men's golf squads rounding out the newest group of honorees to the Hall.

The evening's festivities featured former men's soccer student-athlete Grady Trimble, a Fox News Business reporter, as the emcee and included remarks about the Division I era by North Florida Director of Athletics, Lee Moon.
North Florida has enjoyed many successful accomplishments during its 15-year tenure in at the Division I level. Some of those benchmarks include: 44 ASUN Championships, 38 NCAA Championship appearances, 37 ASUN Players of the Year, 18 All-Americans, a 3.11 cumulative department GPA and 1,126 graduated student-athletes.
