JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The North Florida women's cross country and track programs add two strong runners to their program announced by head coach Jeff Pigg and staff.
"We are really excited Mia and Leah are joining our program. We felt they were both excellent fits with our current team and culture that we've established. I've known Mia and have followed her for a long time. She's done great things and I knew she was a good fit. Her visit went smooth and she decided to make the move 1,000 miles from home. It has to be the right person to make that transition and she fits our culture. She's a Top-5 senior in the state of Illinois which is a very competitive state. Leah is a local kid that is excited about what we're doing here. When they know what we're doing and they see it and like it, it's great to have them join our program. She's been a really solid runner and has a bright future." -- Head coach Jeff Pigg
