HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - North Florida women's basketball overcame a slow start and powered past Alabama A&M, 73-64, Wednesday to win back-to-back road games for the first time since 2014.

North Florida (3-2) went on a 15-3 run from the third to fourth quarter where it took the lead and never looked back. During the stretch, Green had six points and Dasha Eremeeva picked up four. The Ospreys held Alabama A&M (1-3) to just one basket and forced three turnovers.

INSIDE THE GAME
- It was a tale of two quarters as North Florida was held to one point for more than three minutes before closing the gap, 11-7 on a triple from Victoria Patrick.
- Alabama A&M kept its distance though and held UNF to just three total baskets in the opening frame and owned a 20-12 lead after one.
- North Florida opened the second on a 9-3 run on an Adrienne Jackson layup to trail just 23-21 at 6:42.
- The Bulldogs pushed their lead back to seven before UNF outscored the hosts 8-4 down the stretch to close to within 32-31 at the half.
- Out of the break, the teams knotted the score twice, the final at 42-42 before Eremeeva hit a basket to put UNF up.
- The Ospreys then went on a 24-5 run that last into the fourth quarter to pull away, but the Bulldogs were not going down without a fight.
- AAM then jumped on an 11-2 stretch to come within eight and eventually got within six, but the hosts missed on three straight baskets and UNF went 3-for-4 from the line to secure the win.

- The Bulldogs forced 23 turnovers leading to 25 points.
- UNF was just four free-throw attempts shy of the school record as it went 26-for-38 from the line.
