LEADERBOARD: Posting their lowest round of the season with a 14-under 274, No. 32-ranked North Florida men's golf concluded their fall tournament schedule with a fourth-place finish at the Quail Valley Intercollegiate Monday in Vero Beach, Fla. The Osprey lineup featured a pair of Top 10 individual performers.
FIRST TEE
- Freshman Davis Lee collected the first Top 5 finish of his collegiate career, shooting a three round total of 11-under 205 and earning a tie for fifth
- Senior Michael Mattiace joined him in the Top 10, placing ina tie for 9th after a final round 69 gave him a 9-under 207 total
- Sophomore Grant Sutliff finished tied for 21st at 7-under 209 following his round of even par 72 on Monday
- Sophomore Cody Carroll fired the squad's low round of the day shooting a 7-under 65 en route to finishing tied for 33rd at 2-under 212
- Freshman Drew Angelo rounded out the Osprey lineup with a 73 to finish with a 220 (T61)
- Redshirt senior Nick Infanti finished tied for 24th at 6-under 210 including a final round 68 playing as an individual
- As a team, North Florida finished with a 54-hole total of 33-under 831

"We played pretty well today but just didn't make enough birdies to chase down the leaders. Guys did a nice job finishing the fall off on a solid note. It was a good fall with a bunch of new guys and it well be nice to get some time off before the spring season." - Head coach Scott Schroeder
