LEADERBOARD: No. 30 ranked North Florida opened their spring tournament slate Monday carding back-to-back rounds of 284 on day one action of the Sea Best Invitational at TPC Sawgrass Dye's Valley Course.
FIRST TEE
- Freshman Davis Lee picked up where he left off in the fall, holding a T6th spot at 1-under 139 following rounds of 71-67
- Sophomore Cody Carroll (T14) and redshirt senior Nick Infanti (T18) joined Lee among the Top 20 after posting totals of 140 (68-72) and 141 (70-71), respectively
- Senior Michael Mattiace posted rounds of 75-74=149 (T59) while freshman Drew Angelo rounded out the UNF lineup at T75 (79-77=156)
- Playing as an individual, redshirt junior Michael Saccente finished the day T25 with rounds of 72-70=142
- Ospreys tallied a 36-hole team total of 8-over 568, just two shots out of the Top 5
