FIRST TEE — The North Florida women's golf team looks to close out their fall tournament schedule strongly as the Ospreys travel to Kiawah Island, S.C., for the Palmetto Intercollegiate starting on Sunday.

1. LAST TIME OUT: The Ospreys wrapped up a stretch of three tournaments in two weeks with a third place showing at the Lady Paladin Invitational | Mindy Herrick led a trio of UNF players in the Top 25, finishing T17th

2. COURSE REPORT: The Palmetto Intercollegiate, which began in 1999, is being played for the sixth time in tournament history at Turtle Point Course, which is part of the Kiawah Island Golf Resort | The tournament course layout is par 72, 6,005 yards | Format is 54-holes over three days (Rds 1-2 are fixed times off Holes 1 & 10 / Rd 3 is a shotgun start)
3. OSPREY LINE-UPÂ (2019-20 stroke average): Junior Mindy Herrick (74.22) | Junior Sara McKevitt (74.00) | Senior Sydney Shrader (73.67) | Liss Davalos (74.78) | Sophomore Daniela Gonzalez (75.44)
4. THE FIELD:Â The 22-team field includes: Boston College, Boston U., Charleston Southern, College of Chareston "A" and "B", Cincinnati, Coastal Carolina, Daytona State, ETSU, Elon, Fresno State, Jacksonville State, Kansas, Marshall, North Florida, Old Dominion, Radford, Troy, UAB, UNC Greensboro, Wichita State and Xavier
5. PAST PALMETTO PERFORMANCESÂ
North Florida will be making its fourth consecutive appearance at the Palmetto Intercollegiate hosted by College of Charleston | Ospreys are coming off their best showing last season when they earned a 4th place finish | Three of the five UNF golfers in the lineup this weekend have previously played in the event | Liss Davalos (T10) and Sydney Shrader (T13) both finished in Top 15 a year ago | Turtle Point GC is also one of the courses used during the Kiawah Island Spring Classic in February
Coming Up Next - Following play at the Palmetto Intercollegiate, the North Florida women's golf team will have nearly four months off from competition before returning to play in their spring season opener on Feb. 17-18 at the Amelia Island Collegiate.
