THE FACTS: FSU Cross Country Invitational

MEET DAY | The North Florida cross country teams head to Tallahassee for the Florida State Cross Country Invitational Friday (Oct. 11).

OSPREY FACTS
LAST TIME OUT | Sophomore Nathan Jubran had his third consecutive top-5 finish this season at the Mizzou Gans Creek Classic ... The men's team finished fourth in a field of 10 teams with two top-10 finishers in the 8k race ... The women's team earned a fifth place finish in Missouri led by Sophomore Camryn Cooney with a 22nd-place finish … Both teams remain in the top-15 in the South Region Polls, with the men ranked 11th and the women 13th.

MAKING STRIDES | The North Florida men's lineup features four of the top-20 finishers from the Gans Creek Classic (Nathan Jubran, Leo Queyrou, Sem Sultanov, and Aidan O'Gorman) … The women's team will be led by Camryn Cooney, Sadie McLaughlin and Raquel Lespasio, the team's top three runners in the last meet.

NOTABLE OPPONENTS | The FSU XC Invitational will feature two other regionally-ranked teams including host Florida State and Florida … The meet will also feature three ASUN Conference opponents including Jacksonville, North Alabama, and Stetson.

EVENT SCHEDULE | The men's 8K race will begin at 7:40 a.m., followed by the women's 5K race at 8:20 p.m.

UP NEXT | The ASUN Cross Country Championship Saturday, Nov. 2 in Fort Myers, Fla.

We are finally getting over various illnesses and aches and pains and are rounding into championship form.
