COURSE REPORT: Sophomore Nathan Jubran led the North Florida men's cross country team with a second-place finish overall and the first scoring runner at the Florida State Cross Country Invitational. The Ospreys finished second in a field of 20 teams with five top-20 finishers in the 8k race.

FINISH LINE:

Nathan Jubran led UNF with a second-place finish, covering the 8k course in 24:40.6
Leo Queyrou (24:49.7) and Aidan O'Gorman (25:09.5) joined Jubran in the Top 10 with sixth and 10th respective finishes
Rob Leverone (25:10.8) and Sem Sultanov (25:29.6) placed in the Top 20 with 12th and 17th respective finishes
Jubran, Queyrou, O'Gorman, Sultanov, Jared Vazquez, Anderson Bobo, Andrew Stivers, Dalton Morley, Sean Snyder, and Michel Normil all recorded PRs in Tallahassee

"Overall it was a solid team performance. We are making progress and the results are beginning to improve as we continue to work toward our championship goals. Nathan ran another very solid race. He was patient early and very strong in the late stage of the race. Leo looked very good again today and was focused on team success and ran accordingly. Rob is finally getting into racing shape after some pre season set backs and this race was what he needed to propel him into the next few weeks. Aidan also ran a very good race today. He stayed in control and ran with confidence and is doing a great job transitioning to 8000 meter races." -- Head coach Jeff Pigg
