The Leaderboard: The No. 27-ranked North Florida Men's Golf team fired a 5-under par round in Tuesday's second round play in the NCAA Norman (Okla.) Regional at Jimmie Austin OU Golf Club. The Ospreys performance kept them among the Top 5 squads headed into final round action.
FIRST TEE
- Senior Dillon Woods collected a team best four birdies as part of a bogey-free second round total 68 that pushed him into the Top 10 with a T7 total of 3-under 141
- Junior Travis Trace recorded his second straight 2-under 70 to rank as the Osprey's top performer in the tournament. Trace, who also posted a bogey-free round, is currently in 6th with a two-round tally of 140 (-4)
- Junior Andrew Alligood is also among the Top 20 individuals, ranking T14 (143) following a second round 73
- Junior Philip Knowles bounced back with a six stroke improvement on day two, firing an even par 72 to climb to T53 at 150
- Sophomore Michael Mattiace rounded out the Osprey lineup with a 79 to sit in a tie for 62nd at 154
- UNF is in third place with a 36-hole total of 571, just two shots behind second place Pepperdine (569) and trailing leader Oklahoma (567) by only four
