Pigg's Points (Comments from Head Coach Jeff Pigg)
"Eden Meyer won in her final race at UNF, running very comfortably in the race. She stayed poised and surged as she planned at about four miles. She is in excellent condition and we are looking forward to her competing at the NCAA East Prelim in a couple weeks. Grace Meyer, who has battled a chronic achilles problem all year long was able to make all of her rehab and cross training pay off, toughing out a strong fourth place finish in the 10k. It was a great effort on her part and I am so proud of how she has handled this very difficult season. Most people would have went ahead and called it quits, but she never gave up. Louisa Washburn finished second in the pole vault and is now very consistent at these heights. It was a personal best and she moved herself up the East Preliminary list into a qualifying position. She is a great game day competitor."
