Hatters Outlast Ospreys For 5-3 Win

Jacksonville, Fla. – The North Florida baseball team fell to Stetson, 5-3, on Saturday afternoon at Harmon Stadium.Â
LEADING OFF
- Tanner Murphy had his team leading 19th multi hit game on Saturday with a pair of base hits.
- Blake Voyles and Max Law also added a pair of base knocks for the Ospreys, while Dalton Board, Jay Prather, Chris Berry and Mac Wilson also got in the hit column.
- Prather continued his reached base streak with an RBI single in the ninth to extend it to 26 straight game. Berry and Murphy now sit at 18 straight.
- Austin Drury went 7.2 innings as he struck out five, while allowing three earned runs for his second longest outing of the season (9.0 vs Memphis). Drury has thrown 7.0 in all three of his career starts against the Hatters.Â
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Stetson got on the board in the third inning with a solo homer to left center to give the Hatters a 1-0 lead.Â
- The Hatters extended their lead to 2-0 with an RBI groundout in the fifth inning.Â
- UNF got on the board in the fifth with an RBI single from Voyles that brought in Law to make it 2-1 Stetson.Â
- In the seventh, Stetson added a run with an RBI double off the left field wall to make it 3-1.
