THOUGHTS FROM THE TOP (Head Coach Jeff Pigg)
"I thought our guys competed well. The flu wiped us out two weeks ago and it was a relief to see most the team back to full strength. We're looking forward to getting back to training and lining up for the outdoor season.
"Bobby consistently jumps well and always comes to win. He had another very good ASUN meet to earn his third title. Damian Lewis captured second in the high jump with his best jump of the season. Their one-two finish really allowed us to put some distance between us and the fourth and fifth place teams. Noah notched his first ASUN individual title with a strong finish in the 5000m. He is a great competitor and he competed like a champ today. His hard work and consistent living continue to pay off. Nick placed second in the mile and third in the 800m after winning the 3000m on Friday. He wanted to do as much as possible to score points for the team. His willingness to be a team player backed by his talent and desire led him to another great indoor championship performance. George Escobar continues to compete hard and drop his time. He had another great race today that led him to a third place finish. He just keeps getting better. Chris Robin ran a nice PR in the 800m and had two great races this weekend. He is a tough kid who lives to compete."
