THOUGHTS FROM THE TOP (Head Coach Jeff Pigg)
"I thought we competed very well. There was a lot of uncertainty with so many guys out with the flu for the last two weeks, but we were solid. Hopefully, we can line up tomorrow and continue to feel better and bring home some wins for the Ospreys.
"Nick Morken won the 3000m in a very exciting race. Nick is a racer and he did a terrific job today. He ran his race and brought home the win. He is on his game. Noah Perkins has been out with the flu and this was his first hard effort in two weeks. He handled the situation very well. He stayed poised and dug deep for a strong finish. Fynn Timm led of the DMR in his first race of the year and kept the team in contention. George Escobar ran a strong leg to bring the team into the lead. Chris Robin ran a fantasy leg of the 800m in 1:52 and handed off to Christian Conder, who ran a strong final leg to bring home the Ospreys in second place."
