The Leaderboard: With four golfers among the Top 20 individuals led by freshman Jeff Doty in fifth, the North Florida men's golf team sits in fourth place at the Maridoe Intercollegiate following an opening round 291.
FIRST TEE
- Making his debut appearance as part of the Osprey lineup, redshirt freshman Jeff Doty carded an even par 70 highlighted by an eagle to end the day in a tie for 5th
- Senior Philip Knowles finished with an opening round 73 and is tied for 15th
- Seniors Jordan Batchelor and Andrew Alligood posted matching rounds of 74 to rank T20
- Fellow senior Travis Trace rounded out the UNF lineup in a tie for 52nd after a 78
- True freshman Cody Carroll, playing as an individual, carded a collegiate best even-par 70 and is tied for teammate Jeff Doty
