The Leaderboard: Senior Philip Knowles' 3-under 67 was the lone bright spot for the North Florida men's golf squad during Sunday's second round of play at the Maridoe Intercollegiate.Â
FIRST TEE
- Philip Knowles vaulted to the top of the medalist standings after his 3-under 67 gave him a two-round total of even-par 140
- Fellow senior Travis Trace carded a 79, marking the only other Osprey in the 70s during the second round | Trace ended the day in a T55 (157)
- Freshman Jeff Doty slipped into a T39 (153) after a round of 83
- Senior duo of Andrew Alligood and Jordan Batchelor both posted rounds of 81 to rank T47 at 155
- True freshman Cody Carroll notched a 77 and is tied for 13th at 147 playing in the event as an individual
- North Florida dropped from 4th to 7th place in the team standings after a second round 308 gave them a 36-hole total of 599
