LEADERBOARD: Senior Travis Trace sparked a final round charge by the North Florida men's golf team en route to claiming the individual medalist title and leading the Ospreys to the team championship on Tuesday at the Quail Valley Intercollegiate.
FIRST TEE
- Travis Trace carded a bogey-free 6-under 66 in the final round, rallying for the medalist crown with a three-day total of 203 (-13)
- Junior Michael Mattiace and freshman Cody Carroll joined Trace going low as both golfers fired season best rounds of 3-under 69
- Mattiace earned a T12 finish at 212 (-4) while Carroll was T40 at 219
- Senior Jordan Batchelor collected his second under-par round of the tournament, shooting a 1-under 71 to finish T22 at 214 (-2)
- Senior Philip Knowles rounded out the Osprey lineup with a final round 76 | Knowles ended the event T12 at 212
