THOUGHTS FROM THE TOP...
"It was a very solid start to the 2018 track season, filled with many personal bests. This was a nice meet and an excellent opener for us. I was pleased with our effort, preparation and attitude exhibited by our team.
Women's Highlights
"Claudia Jalon looked strong and was the top collegiate finisher in the Olympic Development Mile. Her time broke the school record. Eden Meyer opened with a dominating victory and also looked very swift. Louisa Washburn returned from off season surgery to set a lifetime best placing second in the pole vault. Hallie Grimes ran very well to place second in the 400 meter. She was very relaxed and will continue to drop time in the event this season."
Men's Highlights
"The men's side were led by Nick Morken winning the Mile and Noah Perkins capturing the 3000 meter. Nick had a strong finish to win the mile. Noah ran very well and won after a very good battle with Lipscomb runners. They battled back-and-forth with Noah edging them for the win. George Escobar had a very nice race running an indoor PR and taking third place." -- Head coach Jeff Pigg

North Florida continues its indoor season with a second meet hosted by Samford on Saturday at the Birmingham CrossPlex facility.
