The Short Story: The North Florida Track & Field team wrapped up its participation in the NCAA East Preliminary on Friday night at the Kentucky Outdoor Track & Field Complex in Lexington, Ky, as junior high jumper Alyssa Young finished 40th and sophomore Fynn Timm posted a 38th-place showing in the 3000m Steeplechase.

THE FINISH LINE
- Fynn Timm, making his second consecutive appearance in the NCAA East Preliminary, posted a time of 9:19.33 to finish 38th in the 3000m Steeplechase
FROM THE FIELD
- Alyssa Young, who was appearing in her second straight NCAA East Preliminary, earned a tie for 40th after notching a mark of 1.64m (5-4.50)
