Ospreys Host Jacksonville Monday Night in Quarterfinals of ASUN Tournament

JACKSONVILLE – The North Florida basketball team opens play in the 2017 ASUN Basketball Tournament against crosstown rival Jacksonville in UNF Arena on Monday at 7 p.m. The Ospreys are the No. 3 seed in the tournament while the Dolphins enter as the No. 6 seed.

LAST MEETING: In a game played just four days ago, North Florida outlasted Jacksonville 73-69 at UNF Arena in the regular season finale for both squads. The win marked the eighth straight for UNF in the series. Senior Aaron Bodager drained 6 treys en route to a career best 20 point effort and fellow senior Dallas Moore scored 25 points including 21 in the second half. North Florida held a double-digit lead several times in the game, but the Dolphins continued to battle back and closed within four in the closing minutes.
