Quotable...
"We are looking forward to the ASUN Championships. This has been the best regular season schedule we've had and it provided our team the opportunity to face talented programs. Both teams have made a lot of progress as the season went along. The regular season meets have us really well prepared for this weekend's competition.
On the men's side, Bobby Harris is currently ranked 13th in NCAA high jump. Nick Morken, a former Mile and 800m champion in 2015, is looking great and is excited about the chance to attempt a grueling triple this year by competing in the 800m/Mile/3000m. Tyler Stahl has posted some strong marks in 3000m and Mile, while Brad Hort owns the league's fastest 5,000m time of the season by 15 seconds. In addition, Desmond is the defending 400m champion and owns the fastest time of the season heading into this year's competition.
For the women, Eden Meyer is really looking strong now in training and will be tough to beat in the 3000m and 5000m. Vanessa Philbert is the defending 800m champ is coming back strong after some mid-season challenges. Alyssa Young has been jumping well season and has her eyes set on a win in the high jump." -- Head coach Jeff Pigg
