SAY WHAT
"Michigan State hit well today. We allowed too many runs and didn't make adjustments at the plate to give our offense a shot. We bounced back to take game two with Logan throwing another good game. She did a good job of keeping their hitters off balance. We were able to put some things together at the plate to put up a four-run inning. Our pitching and defense held it down from there. We will have another good test tomorrow in Boston University and need to come out strong and play seven solid innings." - Head Coach Marcie Hickey

Game 1
- UNF got things going in the first inning with Navia Penrod singling up the middle before stealing second.
- Penrod advanced on a sacrifice bunt before scoring on Kayla McGory's sac fly to centerfield.Â
- The Spartans pushed across one in the third to tie the game, but UNF answered in the bottom of the inning on Jenna Brownell's bunt.
- From there though, Michigan State took over scoring five and four runs in the fifth and sixth innings, respectively as the Spartans had nine combined hits in the final two frames.
- The Ospreys bounced back in game two and did not waste time scoring again as Taylor Aguayo came around to score on Cocuzza's double to right center.
- Troy tied the game in the first, but it was not enough as UNF scored four in the third.
- North Florida scored on four straight walks followed by a Niesman's single through the left side to bring in two more.
- After a pitching change, the Ospreys pushed across one more to lead 5-1.
- Green and the UNF defense kept the Trojans off the board, but in the fourth, a UNF miscue allowed a runner to come around to score. It was too little though as only one other Trojan reached base in the final two frames.
