COURSE REPORT:Â A trio of North Florida senior track and field athletes kicked off the indoor competition season for the Ospreys on Friday night at Indiana's Hoosier Open.

FINISH LINE
- Senior sprinter Hallie Grimes competed in a pair of events in the season opening meet. Grimes clocked a time of 57.10 in the 400m to finish third and then posted a 40.37 in the 300m (16th place)
FROM THE FIELD
- Alyssa Young opened her senior high jump campaign with a mark of 1.65m (5-05) to earn a fifth-place showing
- Bobby Harris posted a high jump mark of 2.15m (7-0.5) in his return to competition. Harris' jump placed him third in the event
THOUGHTS FROM COACH KRUPA:
"Alyssa and Hallie had a very good early meet, which showed us they both had outstanding preseason workouts. Bobby had a very solid meet after not jumping outdoors last year. All of his rehab and training habits are now paying off. We are very proud of all three athletes and excited to watch their progress throughout the indoor and outdoor seasons."
WHAT'S NEXT
The full North Florida track and field teams will start the indoor season in earnest on Jan. 19 at the Samford Invitational in Birmingham, Ala.
