Women's Golf Continues Fall Slate at Pinehurst Challenge

The Short Story:Â The historic Pinehurst Resort serves as host site for the next tournament appearance for the North Florida women's golf team as the Ospreys are set to play Monday and Tuesday in the Pinehurst Challenge hosted by College of Charleston.

LOCATION: Pinehurst Resort, Course No. 1 (Pinehurst, N.C.)
COURSE INFO: Par 72 / 5,974 yards

TOURNAMENT FORMAT:Â Two-day, 54-hole event (8:30 a.m. shotgun start for 36 holes on Monday | 8:30 a.m. Shotgun start for 18 holes on Tuesday)

- This marks the Ospreys third consecutive appearance in the Pinehurst Challenge
- North Florida's best finish in the event was 8th place in 2015
- Teresa Conroy carded a 6-under 66 last season marking a career best round and UNF program record low score... Conroy also earned a personal best 4th place finish in the medalist competition
- UNF has not played in over a month after opening the season on Sept. 4-5 at Ocean Course Invitational
- Kaye Kwon claimed the ASUN Golfer of the Week honor following her Osprey debut at Ocean Course
- Pinehurst Challenge marks the second of three fall events for UNF that are hosted by College of Charleston... Ospreys will play in five CofC tournaments this year
