- After trading the lead over the next few possessions, the Spartans broke open a 45-45 tie with three consecutive treys and maintained their lead for several minutes.

- Ospreys won despite shooting just 37% from the floor for the game

SAY WHAT...
"Tonight was a real team effort and lots of different folks deserve some credit. I am blessed to have a great staff that has confidence enough to make suggestions in the heat of battle. A lot of credit goes to the staff for convincing me to go back to the zone late in the game which really made a difference. I thought Upstate was good a limiting Dallas early in the game but he was eventually able to get loose and got into a flow later in the game and that's what makes him so special. It was nice to seen Aaron Bodager shoot with some confidence tonight and Romelo really battled down low against their talented post player. I was proud of how resilient the guys were and how they continued to fight and got the stops needed down the stretch. Road wins in league play are at a premium so it is exciting to get another one." -- Head coach Matthew Driscoll

- The Ospreys conclude their ASUN opening three-game road stretch on Saturday at NJIT... The game tips at 4 p.m. in Newark, N.J. and will be carried on ESPN3 and 1010 XL AM.
