@OspreySB Heads to Orlando to take on #13 UCF Saturday

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The North Florida softball team travels to Orlando for their final road game of the regular season, squaring off against the 13^th ranked UCF Knights Saturday at 2 p.m. at the UCF Softball Complex.

The Ospreys (30-24) are coming off a split doubleheader with conference foe Stetson to close their A-Sun slate. North Florida has two games remaining before the start of the conference postseason tournament, and has already clinched a playoff spot.

Junior Stacy McClelland leads the Ospreys lineup. McClelland powered North Florida to their last win with a two-home run, six-RBI performance against Stetson, including the first grand slam of the season. McClelland sits at 12 homers and 43 RBIs. The 12 home runs is one away from tying the school single-season home run record.

Senior Kaylie Wallace leads the pitching staff. Wallace ranks fourth in the conference in ERA (2.90) and fourth in wins (13), while also ranking fifth in the conference in strikeouts (102).
