
Four-Game, Weekend Home Series vs. Brown Slated for @OspreyBSB

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – North Florida (10-8) will host Brown (1-5) in a four-game series beginning Friday night at Harmon Stadium. A twinbill is scheduled for Saturday at 1:00 p.m. with the series concluding on Sunday morning at 11:30 Friday's opener will be the first "Harmon Happy Hour" of the season where $1 drink specials are offered at the stadium concession stand.

Winning Streak: The Ospreys come into the series on a four-game win streak, outscoring their last four opponents, 37-12 in that span. It marks the first time North Florida has strung together four consecutive wins since 2013 when they won six straight from Apr. 20 - Apr.28.
March Madness: In the month of March, the Ospreys will host four home, weekend series at Harmon Stadium. Their only game outside of the state of Florida was on Wednesday night against Georgia Southern. It total, 15 of the 20 scheduled games in the month of March will be played at home.
Career Days: Junior Nick Karmeris and sophomore Patrick Ervin each had four hits in Wednesday's 13-3 victory over Georgia Southern establishing new career highs. Karmeris was 4-for-5 with two doubles and three RBIs while Ervin was 4-for-6 with three runs scored.
Flirt With Perfection: In his longest outing of the season, freshman Brad Deppermann retired the first 15 batters of the game on Wednesday against Georgia Southern. He struck out six of the first nine batters he faced before surrendering a hit to Cal Baker who lead off the sixth inning. Deppermann earned his first collegiate victory which was no small task for the rookie righty against a team with 40 wins in 2014 and an NCAA regional qualifier.
First to Ten: The Ospreys are the first Atlantic Sun Team to 10 wins this season and currently have the longest winning streak in the league at four. Lipscomb, Kennesaw State, FGCU and Stetson all trail with eight wins.
10 or More Hits: Wednesday was the 10th game this season the Ospreys have collected 10 or more hits. In those games North Florida has record of 7-3.
Close Calls: North Florida has played three extra-inning games and been involved in eight, one-run contests so far this year. The Ospreys have been on the losing end of six of those games and have yet to emerge victorious in
Late Game Offense: Of the 111 runs scored by North Florida this season, 60 percent have come in the sixth inning or later. The sixth inning has proved to be the most potent inning with 24 runs this season.
Choice Fielders: Sporting a .984 fielding percentage, the Ospreys are ranked 7th in the country and have committed only 12 errors this year. Eight of the 18 games this season have gone errorless for the North Florida defense.
