JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The University of North Florida women's golf team welcomes a field of 14 teams for the UNF Intercollegiate on Monday and Tuesday at Jacksonville Golf and Country Club.
The Ospreys, who have enjoyed solid play in their last few outings, look to build on that recent success in their 54-hole event on a familiar course. The UNF Interecollegiate begins with 36 holes of play Monday beginning with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m.
North Florida's lineup for their home event is led by freshman Nathalie Nygren and sophomore Emelie Alpe. The duo will be joined by freshman Lauren Coe and sophomores Kelly Aylwin and Mary Rodgers. Sophomore Belinda George is participating in the event as an individual.
In addition to UNF, the tournament field includes Morehead State, Old Dominion, Daytona State, Eastern Kentucky, James Madison, Jacksonville, Southern Illinois, McNeese State, Belmont, Austin Peay, Charleston Southern, Appalachian State and Western Carolina.
The UNF Intercollegiate is open to the public with a free admission.
