
#MBB Hosts Tennessee Tech for Final 2014 Home Game

JACKSONVILLE -- Following exam week at UNF and prior to tipping off a six-game road swing, the North Florida basketball team hosts Tennessee Tech at 7 p.m. on Monday night in the team's final game at UNF Arena in the 2014 calendar year.
The Ospreys (6-3) have won five staight, matching the longest win streak of the program's 10-year Division I era. In their last outing, UNF posted a road upset of Purdue, 73-70, on Dec. 6. Monday's game marks the first of four games for the Ospreys in the next week.
Against Purdue, sophomore Dallas Moore led the way scoring 24 points while junior Demarcus Daniels finished with a career high 17 points and eight rebounds. The Ospreys overcame a seven-point deficit in the final three minutes to earn the program's first win over a Power 5 Conference opponent.
Tennessee Tech enters Monday's tilt at 5-4 following a tough 65-53 loss at Alabama on Saturday night. The Golden Eagles have been a tale of two cities this season boasting a perfect 5-0 mark at home while going winless (0-4) on the road.
Following the TTU contest, North Florida makes a two-game trek to Tallahassee with games against Florida State on Wednesday and Florida A&M on Friday.
