CEDAR FALLS, Iowa -- The North Florida basketball team visits Northern Iowa for their second game of the Cancun Challenge on Saturday at 1 p.m (2 p.m. ET) in the McLeod Center.

The Ospreys (1-2) look to rebound following a disappointing last-second shot loss, 69-67, at Northwestern on Thursday night. UNF owned the lead against the Wildcats for most of the final 10 minutes of play before seeing NU score a basket with two ticks left to steal the win. Against Northwestern, sophomore Dallas Moore led the way with 18 points and five assists, marking his third consecutive double-digit performance to open the 2014-15 campaign.

UNI enters the contest undefeated at 3-0 after handing Morgan State a 73-53 loss on Thursday in the McLeod Center. Senior Seth Tuttle, the Missouri Valley Conference Preseason Player of the Year, leads the Panthers averaging 16.3 points and 8.0 rebounds per game. Northern Iowa also owns wins over North Dakota and Stephen F. Austin this season.

The guard tandem of Trent Mackey and Aaron Bodager are definitely "designated shooters" for North Florida. All of the pairs combined 24 shot attempts have come from beyond the three-point line.

THANKSGIVING IN MEXICO
Following the game at UNI, North Florida heads south of the border to wrap up play in the Cancun Challenge. The Ospreys will be joined by opening round opponent Liberty along with Morgan State and Elon for a pair of games in the Mayan Division of the event. Northern Iowa will also head to Cancun for games against Virginia Tech and Northwestern or Miami (OH).
