@OspreyWSOC Travels to Stetson in Final Road Contest

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The North Florida women's soccer team travels to DeLand, Fla. on Friday, Oct. 17 to face the Hatters of Stetson University in their final road contest of the regular season.

The Ospreys (5-9-1, 3-1-1 A-Sun) are coming off of a great weekend of A-Sun play at home. They defeated USC Upstate 2-0 last Friday, before beating Kennesaw State 1-0 last Sunday.
Senior Jill Holdsworth, junior Amanda Fischler and freshman Hanna Parado all scored goals over the past weekend, Fischler and Holdsworth's goals were their first of the season, while Parado notched her second of the year.
For her role in the defense last week, junior Lanie Keating was named the conference defensive player of the week. She is the second UNF player to be named defensive POTW, as senior goalkeeper Megan Dorsey garnered the honors earlier this season.

The Hatters (3-11-1, 1-4-0 A-Sun) are coming off of two tough conference games at home last weekend, dropping a 4-2 decision to Lipscomb and a 4-3 result to Northern Kentucky

Last weekend earned North Florida six points in the A-Sun conference standings, propelling them to second in the conference and clinching them a berth in the A-Sun postseason tournament.
