JACKSONVILLE, Fla.—The University of North Florida's swimming and diving team travels to Statesboro, Ga., to take on Gardner-Webb and Georgia Southern on Saturday at Noon at the RAC Aquatics Center.

The Ospreys enter Saturday's meet following 171.50- 128.50 victory over West Florida and a 156-138 loss to Campbell on Saturday, Jan. 12.

North Florida earned three, first-place finishes in their previous meet. Eva Porter placed first in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 1:00.16. In the 200-yard butterfly, Amy Taylor placed first with a time of 2:09.69. Monica Rice claimed first-place in the 1-meter diving with a score of 259.25

Following the meet, Rice was named the Coastal Collegiate Swimming Association's Diver of the Week for the third time this season. Rice was awarded the honors after accumulating 507.20 points over the weekend. In the 1-meter, Rice claimed first with a score of 259.25, then placed fourth in the 3-meter with a score of 247.95.
