
Women's Golf Closes Regular Season at Marsh Landing Invite

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The North Florida women's golf team will conclude the regular season portion of its inaugural season Monday-Tuesday at the Marsh Landing Invitational cohosted by Jacksonville and UCF.
The Ospreys enter their final tuneup before the Atlantic Sun Conference championship on a positive note following a ninth-place finish at the recent Pinehurst Challenge. It marked the team's third Top 10 showing of the season.
Freshman Tess Huber leads the team with a 77.38 stroke average. Emelie Alpe, a midsemester addition for UNF, has also made an impact posting a 77.44 average and been the team's top finisher in two of the three events she has played.
Another pair of freshmen, Kelly Aylwin (78.00 avg.) and Mary Rodgers (78.14 avg.), have also provided the squad with solid contributions throughout the season.
The Marsh Landing event is a two-day, 54-hole event featuring 36 holes of play Monday followed by a final round of 18 holes Tuesday. The event, played at Marsh Landing Country Club, is free and open to the public
