Women's Golf Tees Off Friday at Eagle Landing Invite

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The North Florida women's golf team continues a busy week of competition Friday in the opening round of the JMU/Eagle Landing Invitational at Eagle Landing Golf Course.
The Eagle Landing Invitational marks the Ospreys second 54-hole event in the last week after UNF posted an 18th place showing in the Kiawah Island Intercollegiate on Tuesday. The JMU hosted event featuring a field of 17 teams will run from Friday-Sunday and is open to the public with free admission.
UNF will send a lineup consisting of four freshmen and a junior into play this weekend headed by Tuesday's top finisher Kelly Aylwin. She will be joined by freshmen teammates Emelie Alpe, Tess Huber and Mary Rodgers along with junior Kelly Miller.
In addition, Osprey rookies Victoria Pitenis and Belinda George will compete in the event as individuals.
North Florida begins play Friday in a pairing with Western Carolina beginning at 9:36 a.m. off of tee No. 10.
Live scoring during each round will be available online at www.golfstat.com.
