
Basketball Hosts FGCU in Rematch

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The North Florida basketball team concludes its current two-game home stand Monday in a rematch against Atlantic Sun foe Florida Gulf Coast in UNF Arena at 7 p.m.
The Ospreys (12-13, 6-6 A-Sun) hope to earn the season sweep against FGCU (12-11, 7-5) after earning an 88-81 overtime win earlier this season in Fort Myers. Both squads enter the meeting having won three of their last four games.
Monday's game marks the 13th all-time meeting between UNF and FGCU on the hardwood. The series is tied 6-6 with the Ospreys having won the last six match-ups.
Jerron Granberry, who scored a season best 25 points Saturday night, is one of three UNF players currently averaging in double digits scoring 10.8 points per game. Parker Smith leads the Ospreys with 12.8 ppg followed by Travis Wallace at 11.3. Wallace also leads the team with 5.3 rebounds a contest.

Single game men's and doubleheader ticket prices are $12 Reserved (Sec. 5-14), $10 Adults, $8 (Youth 17-under, Senior Citizens 55+, Active Military, UNF Faculty/Staff), UNF students with valid Osprey1 card and children under 2 are free.
