Women's Tennis Opens Home Against Charleston Southern on Tuesday

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The University of North Florida women's tennis team opens the home portion of its spring schedule on Tuesday when the Ospreys host Charleston Southern at the UNF Tennis Complex. The match was originally scheduled for Sunday, but was postponed due to inclement weather.

It will be UNF's first home competition since hosting the UNF Invitational in the fall. The Ospreys enter the weekend with a 1-2 record with their lone victory being a 5-2 decision at UNC Wilmington two weeks ago. However, both of the Ospreys losses were to nationally ranked opponents in Florida State and College of Charleston.

Charleston Southern has won its first three dual matches, including a 4-3 win over Iowa State and a 6-1 win over Wofford during a doubleheader day last Saturday. All of the Buccaneers' matches have taken place in South Carolina with all of their dual matches being on their home courts. Charleston Southern also participated in an early season tournament at Clemson.

The UNF-Charleston Southern match time is scheduled for 11 a.m.
