Men's Tennis Wins 4-2 at UCF, Match Time Changed For Saturday

ORLANDO, Fla. – University of North Florida men's tennis captured a shortened 4-2 match at UCF on Friday afternoon in the Ospreys' first of two matches in two days. Meanwhile, Saturday's match against Florida Atlantic has been changed from Noon to 10:30 a.m., due to expected rainfall tomorrow afternoon in the Jacksonville area.
 
Due to rain expected in the Orlando area on Friday afternoon, only singles were played. The Ospreys won the top four flights. Moritz Buerchner defeated Jorge Blasco 6-3, 6-1 at No. 1. At No. 2, Norbert Nemcsek came back from falling 6-3 in the first set to taking the second and third sets from Erik Brunskog. Nemcsek posted 6-2, 6-2 wins in the final two sets.
 
At No. 3, Daniel Sotomarino posted a 6-4, 6-1 win over Mario Samson, while Julien Belair went 6-4, 6-2 against Mitch Thams at No. 4.
 
Juan Bolona defeated Graham Edgar 6-4, 0-6, 6-4 at No. 5 singles for the Knights, while Joe Delinks had a 6-2, 6-2 win over Leonardo Nahar at No. 6.
