2009-10 (Junior): Went 10-5 in singles and 2-4 in doubles… split time at No. 4 (3-1), No. 5 (3-1) and No. 6 singles (4-3)… had a three-match winning streak in singles, posting wins over Florida A&M’s Maurice Wamukowa, Bethune-Cookman’s Christian Cruz, and South Carolina State’s Peter Vinogradovs… advanced to the quarterfinals of the Seminole Invitational after pulling out a three-set thriller over Florida State’s Aaron May in the first round and defeating Bethune-Cookman’s Kristofer Martin in the second round… reached the Flight A singles consolation finals at the 2009 UNF Hampton Inn 9A and Baymeadows Fall Tennis Invitational… Atlantic Sun All-Academic.

2008-09 (Sophomore): Tallied a 24-10 overall record in singles, including 15-4 in duals… saw time in the No. 3 (0-2), No. 4 (3-1), No. 5 (3-0) and No. 6 (9-1) positions… had a win over No. 21 Auburn’s Powell Porter at the UNF Fall Invitational… also had a win over No. 53 Radford’s Paul Boslet at the UNC Fall Invitational… posted a 16-11 overall record in doubles with a 9-9 record in dual matches with partner Ronnie Sang in the No. 3… the pair had a win over No. 57 Middle Tennessee State’s Alex McCann and Kyle Wishing at the UNF Spring Invitational… also had a win over No. 66 Elon’s Kevin Beard and Chris Spalding at the UNC Fall Invitational… Atlantic Sun All-Academic.

2007-08 (Freshman): Finished 13-17 overall in singles play, including 10-10 in duals… was 5-5 against the Atlantic Sun Conference… posted a 6-4 record at No. 4 singles… picked up a straight set win over Aaron Krisan of 29th ranked South Alabama (2/8)… had a five-match winning streak that included win over Hofstra, College of Charleston, Lipscomb, Belmont and Gardner-Webb… closed out season with wins over Mercer and Jacksonville.

Other Experience: Earned numerous Florida and national rankings during his junior career… participated in the national clay and Harcourt tournaments… also played in the Florida Zonals.

High School: Graduated from Pensacola’s Washington High School in 2007… squad won the Class 3A state title during his senior season… earned All-State honors following his senior season… honor student.

Personal: Majoring in Business Management… son of Sharon Barnett and Russell Edgar… has two sisters, Ashley and Lauren… Born December  16.
