“We had a nice team finish and got a full team effort today,” said UNF head coach Scott Schroeder. “Major (Forbess) played well all weekend. It was nice to see some of our other guys step up. We beat some quality teams and now we need to turn our attention to defending our home tournament in a couple of weeks. The three schools that finished ahead of us this weekend will be in that field so its important that we get back to work and come in ready to play.”
Florida won the team championship at 844, nine shots in front of runner-up Auburn (853). LSU finished third at 862 followed by UNF, UCF (867), Coastal Carolina (868), Florida State (869), Lamar (873), Ole Miss (875), UAB (899), Jacksonville (901), Mississippi State (903), Georgia Southern (909) and Georgia State (911).
