Ospreys return to action on Wednesday
STATESBORO, Ga. - After playing two and a half innings, the rain settled in and put an end to the baseball game between the University of North Florida and Georgia Southern on Tuesday at JI Clements Stadium.
Georgia Southern was leading 3-2 in the bottom of the third when a flash of lightning stopped the game and began a mandatory 30 minute delay. About an hour later, the severe weather system made its appearance and stopped any hope of resuming the game.
The Ospreys will return to action at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday when they travel to Orlando to take on Central Florida, which also had its game against Stetson on Tuesday postponed due to rain.
