Kennedy, Gibb in hunt for individual lead

Greenville, S.C. – Rain continued throughout the day Saturday at the Furman Intercollegiate, suspending second round play at the Furman University Golf Course.

The University of North Florida golf team will take a one-stroke lead into the final round of what has now become a 54-hole event.

Chris Kennedy is tied for second with a group of three others after opening play with a 71 on Friday. Gibb is one stroke behind him and tied for sixth after shooting a 72 Friday. UNF did not see the course on Saturday because of rain.

Kevin Aylwin is tied for 19^th after a round of 75, while J.C. Horne (78) and Jeff Dennis (80) rounded out the scoring for the Ospreys.

UNF is one stroke ahead of Virginia Tech and two strokes ahead of East Carolina heading into Sunday's final round.
