JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The University of North Florida men's basketball team travels to Tuscaloosa, Ala., on Wednesday, Dec. 2, to take on Southeastern Conference foe Alabama at 8 p.m. ET.
The game will not air on 1320 WBOB in Jacksonville, but the game can be heard and watched on CBS Sports All-Access by clicking HERE.
The Ospreys are 1-4 on the year and 0-2 in Atlantic Sun Conference play, while Alabama is 4-2 after capturing third-place at the Old Spice Classic in Orlando over the weekend. The Crimson Tide downed Michigan 68-66 in the third-place game.
“Anytime you get a chance to play a BCS school like Alabama you have to be excited for the challenge,” said UNF head coach Matthew Driscoll. “They are coming off a very strong showing in Orlando where they went 2-1 including a win over my former school Baylor. They are long and skilled and improving daily while getting more comfortable in Coach Grant's new system. This is another chance for us to grow heading into finals.”
It is UNF's last game for 14 days as the Ospreys wrap up final exams for the fall semester. The next game for the Ospreys is Dec. 16 at Northwestern. The game at Alabama is also the fourth game of a nine game road swing for North Florida before returning home Dec. 30.
A season ticket for basketball is $120 and includes all men's and women's home games, a total of 28 games on 19 event dates, including nine Atlantic Sun Conference double headers.
