“This year is a completely different feel, we're now playing for a championship,” said head coach Linda Hamilton. “Coupled with the two years with Morgan (assistant coach) and myself as a coaching staff, everybody's getting used to it, not to mention the recruiting class that we have brought in. But I'll say this that the overall team attitude and atmosphere has a different feel and they know that they are a talented team.”

The supporting cast for the Ospreys has been an integral part to their success this season. Freshman Michele Larrinaga has been a key addition for the Ospreys, scoring six goals, and helping UNF put up 23 goals on the year. The 23 goals through 13 games has easily surpassed last season's 17 scored in 13 games.
