UNF goes world wide at FGCU

The University of North Florida men's basketball team will head for the warm climate of Southwest Florida Friday night when it takes on Atlantic Sun Conference foe Florida Gulf Coast.

The game is the Atlantic Sun Conference featured game on CSS this week, being broadcast live to millions of homes throughout the Southeastern United States. The game will also be carried live on ESPN 360, giving fans across the globe a chance to watch all the action via the World Wide Web.

UNF (3-15, 1-7 A-Sun) is coming off a tough loss at the hands of Campbell on Monday night, falling 61-57. The Ospreys and Eagles are no strangers to tight contests, with both games last year being decided by three points. Florida Gulf Coast (8-12, 4-5 A-Sun) came out with the upper hand in both of those contests and will look to stay perfect against the Ospreys. The Eagles are 5-0 against UNF all time, dating back to the team's competition at the NCAA Division II level.

Gameday Notables: A UNF win would give the Ospreys their second win in A-Sun play this season, give UNF its first win on the road in Atlantic Sun play and give the team its second win in the month of January and eclipse last year's win total … Januska found his way back into the starting lineup in the team's last outing against Campbell after coming off the bench the previous three games … Januska has scored a season-high 17 points on three separate outings this season, with his last performance coming at Campbell … that total is only one point off of his career high.
