WOMEN'S TENNIS WEEKLY

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The University of North Florida women's tennis team will try to make it five of six in the Atlantic Sun this weekend when it travels to Buies Creek, N.C., for a 1 p.m. match with Campbell on Friday.

The Lady Ospreys went 1-2 last weekend at the Wichita State Shocker Invitational, with losses to nationally-ranked foes WSU and Boise State. UNF is 4-1 in the A-Sun and stand in fourth place. Carolina Melo is undefeated in conference play with a 5-0 record.

Who's Hot: Senior Vanessa Sanchez went 2-0 last weekend at the Shocker Invitational in No. 2 singles, including a 6-0, 1-0, win over No. 43 Boise State's Bianca Jochimsen. The winning streak came after she lost three straight the previous weekend.

UNF Notables: Both the doubles teams of Ina Durcakova/Vanessa Sanchez and Victoria Krook/Maria Melihova are undefeated in conference play … Durcakova/Sanchez is 4-0, while Krook/Melihova is 5-0 … the Lady Ospreys are 2-5 on the road this season.
